Consultation for this project has now closed.
Council resolved at its Ordinary Meeting held on Wednesday 23 May 2018 to publicly exhibit the Draft Section 355 Committee Guidelines Manual and Volunteer Policy for a period of 28 days.
Both the manual and policy can be accessed from the Document Library within the Create Project or hard copies can be viewed at Council's Administration Building, 33-39 Hyde Street, Bellingen between the hours of 8.30am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday and also at the Dorrigo, Bellingen and Urunga Libraries during normal opening hours.
Interested community members can lodge submissions within the exhibition period.
Drop-In Session A drop-in session for feedback will be held in the Bellingen Shire Council Chambers on Tuesday 12 June from 5.00pm – 6.00pm for all interested community members.
Submissions Submissions regarding the documents. must be made by 4.00pm on Wednesday 27 June 2018.

Council is committed to openness and transparency in its decision making processes. The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 requires Council to provide public access to information held unless there are overriding public interest considerations against disclosure.
Any submissions received will be made publicly available unless the writer can demonstrate that the release of part or all of the information would not be in the public interest. However, Council would be obliged to release information as required by court order or other specific law.
