Consultation has concluded
The NSW Government is investing $879 million to rejuvenate arts and cultural infrastructure.
This is the biggest commitment to arts and cultural infrastructure since NSW built the Sydney Opera House and the State Government have pledged that the investment will be shared across the state in all areas including regional NSW.
The NSW Cultural Infrastructure Program Management Office is currently preparing a NSW Cultural Infrastructure Plan 2025. This is a plan that will inform future arts and cultural infrastructure funding decisions. Bellingen Shire Council is therefore working with Arts Mid North Coast to prepare a detailed submission that will best position Bellingen Shire for future State Government arts and cultural infrastructure funding. As part of the process, Council is seeking community input about how existing local public arts and cultural infrastructure could be enhanced to best support the creative arts sector.
Please consider taking Council's quick two question survey and we will incorporate your answers into our submission. In addition, if you work in the arts sector and are interested in providing the State Government with additional input, please also complete the Cultural Infrastructure in New South Wales Sector Survey. Likewise, if you are a general member of the community you can also complete the Cultural Infrastructure in New South Wales Community Survey
