Bellingen Council is running a series of community grants workshops in Bellingen, Dorrigo and Urunga to be held throughout July.
Whether you are a seasoned grant writer or new to the world of funding, the workshops have something for you. The workshops will cover a number of topics including, but not limited to:
· An introduction to grants and grant writing
· How to access funding
· What you need to know about funding and making an application
· Where to start
· How to write an application
· Tips and tricks when making an application
· Partnerships
The workshops will also include practical writing skills to give individuals and organisations a better chance at success. Participants are encouraged to bring project ideas to discuss as part of the practical writing sessions.
WORKSHOPS
Introduction to Grant Writing
This session will benefit those with no or limited exposure/experience in grants and grant writing. It would also benefit the seasoned grants person who would like to get back to basics.
Grant Writing Tips and Tricks
This session will benefit those with some experience and/or would like to improve their grant writing skills. Those who have attended the Introduction to Grant Writing Workshop are encouraged to attend.
