On 1 July 2018, the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment introduced a requirement for all Council’s (and other Planning Authorities) to prepare a Community Participation Plan (CPP).
A CPP will outline how and when the Community will have the opportunity to participate in Council’s planning matters.
At its meeting of 26 September 2019 August 2019, Council resolved to place the Draft CPP & Amendment to Bellingen Shire Development Control Plan 2017. The public exhibition period will commence on 2 October 2019 to 30 October 2019.
The Draft CPP & Amendment to Bellingen Shire Development Control Plan 2017 will be available for viewing at the following locations for the duration of the exhibition:
Bellingen, Dorrigo & Urunga Libraries; and
Bellingen Council Administrative Centre.
