Bellingen Connell Park Management Committee is seeking a suitably skilled and qualified person to review and re-write the Plan of Management for Connell Park. The Plan will include consultation with users and the community to consider objectives, usage and available facilities for the next 10 years.
The EOI will detail:-
Your knowledge of, and ability to implement the objectives for sporting fields as in Section 36F of the Local Government Act
Your experience in the preparation of Plans of Management or land use/strategy planning
Your knowledge of the role of sport in the local community
Your Community Engagement Skills and Experience
Estimated timeframe for delivery of the Plan
A fee proposal
The scope of works is provided below:-
A full review and re-write of the existing Plan of Management for Connell Park and a new Plan for the 2020 – 2025 time period
Undertake a planning process with the Management Committee, sporting bodies and general community to recommend Objectives, Actions and Targets for the next 5 years
Review the field allocation, process and management in line with the outcomes of 2 above, in conjunction with the Management Committee and on evidence based research on current and future sporting trends in the Bellingen area
A detailed action plan outlining steps to improve and upgrade infrastructure based on identified needs of users and the community.
