Consultation has concluded

Gleniffer Swimming Hole

This Plan was adopted by Council in May 2018. The final Plan can be viewed on Council's website under Reports/Plans.

The draft (PoM) aims to provide direction for the future management of four Council Reserves at Gleniffer for the next ten years.

The reserves are:

  • Arthur Keough Reserve
  • Earl Preston Reserve
  • Broken Bridge Reserve; and
  • Angel Gabriel Capararo Reserve

The draft (PoM) considers current social and environment values and legislative responsibilities, particularly in relation to managing recreational and environmental aspects.

The document will be on public exhibition from Monday 12 February until Sunday 25 March 2018 and can be downloaded from the Document Library or a hard copy can be viewed at Council’s Administrative Centre, or the branch libraries in Dorrigo, Bellingen and Urunga.

Council invites interested parties to make a submission to be received by Council before Sunday 25 March 2018. These submissions will be taken into consideration in the final drafting of the POM.
