Public Exhibition - Proposed Lease of Public Road Reserve on Church Street Lane Bellingen

Council has received an offer from The Bellingen Brewing Company Pty Ltd to enter into a lease related to the development of part of the road reserve associated with Church Street Lane Bellingen (proposal attached). The Bellingen Brewing Company Pty Ltd is the lessee of land adjoining the road reserve.

The purpose of the lease is to address existing drainage constraints and develop open space for the purposes of an associated business undertaking.

The offer is consistent with the strategic directions of the Bellingen Shire Council 2027 Community Vision for public infrastructure to appropriately support business activity.

Council is now seeking your feedback on the proposed lease, which is being publicly exhibited pursuant to the provisions of Section 154 of the Roads Act 1993.

Submissions will be received from Monday 30 November 2020 until 4:30 pm on Wednesday 30 December 2020. All submissions are to include the reference Submission – Proposed Lease Between Bellingen Shire Council & The Bellingen Brewing Company Pty Ltd.

Emailed submissions are preferred, and should be directed to council@bellingen.nsw.gov.au. Alternatively, written submissions can be sent to the attention of The General Manager, Bellingen Shire Council, PO Box 117, BELLINGEN NSW 2454.
